Job Description General Summary: The territory will cover multi-states and cities including Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Indianapolis, Indiana . The preferred candidate may reside in one of the Blue Grass cities above, ideally Louisville, Kentucky. The Regional Field Leader, Associate Director will be responsible for the oversight of one region in the US Pain Business Unit and will be responsible for the commercialization of JOURNAVX, a novel selective inhibitor of NaV1.8 in acute pain. We are looking for candidates with a strong track record of delivering exceptional results, establishing a strong team culture that aligns with Vertex values, and developing deep strategic account and HCP relationships. The Regional Field Leader (RFL) will lead a team of 4-5 pain territory account managers (PTAMs) and 4-5 territory business managers (TBMs) and will report to the Area Field Leader. PTAMs are responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key institutional decision makers and affiliated Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and are responsible for leading engagement with 15-20 institutions (hospitals & ambulatory surgery centers) as well as physicians within the hospital setting or hospital networks.
