Job Description General Summary The Associate Director, Health System Engagement & Congress Lead is responsible for developing the strategy and execution for: all national Health System Congress promotional activities (sponsorships, booths, media, product theater, etc.), all commercial Health System speaker and peer education investment and programs (strategy, content, operations), and Health System KTL insight-seeking initiatives (strategic councils, advisory boards, KTL meetings) within the U.S. Commercial Pain Business Unit. Vertex recently launched JOURNAVX, an oral, non-opioid medication for the treatment of moderate-to-severe acute pain. Peer education is a highly important way to generate awareness, understanding and excitement across the nations largest and most complex Health Systems and hospitals. The AD role manages strategic direction and day-to-day operations of all HS engagement activities (speaker program, congresses, KTL insights) and will also oversee the daily operating relationship and practices for agencies contracted to support the team. This role reports to the Director, Health Systems Marketing.
