Job Description General Summary The Senior Regional Sales Director, West Region is accountable for achieving business targets and creating a high-performance culture by leading and developing a team of sales professionals for Vertex’s flagship Cystic Fibrosis Business Unit. This is a high impact highly visible first-line sales leader role accountable for a blockbuster portfolio and a member of the Business Unit Leadership Team. This role reports directly to the Vice President & General Manager of the Business Unit and leads a team of ~7 highly seasoned sales account professionals. Paramount to success in this role is the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with customer-facing and HQ roles to problem-solve for near and long-term business challenges while role-modeling a best-in-class compliance approach in everything we do. The Senior Sales Director must live within the geographic area they are leading.
