Please note the hours for weekend shift are Friday to Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Let's talk about the team and you: The Area Manager will be responsible for the management of all activities and personnel related to shipping, receiving, storing of materials and/or finished goods. You will contribute to the development of a workplace culture that reflects ResMed’s organizational values, standards, core competencies and behaviors. Four key areas that you’ll always focus on are safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity for your department / area. What You'll Do Support all safety programs ensuring a safe work environment Review forecasts and determine labor needs to meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives Meet with team on a daily basis to balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting daily deadlines Foster an environment that harbors continuous improvement and the elimination of non-value added activities Ensure proper training of staff in order to effectively and efficiently meet customer demand Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce Ensure materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, packaged according to specification, and shipped in a timely manner Ensure quality objectives are met while operating within the allocated budget and meeting delivery deadlines while be…
