The Commercial Director, Intercontinental - Hematology is a key member of the Intercontinental Commercial Area Team, reporting to the Intercontinental Commercial Lead. This role will be responsible for supporting Hematology strategies across Intercontinental Markets including Regions Middle East, Africa and Russia (MEAR) as well as Australia, through partnering with commercial directors assigned to those markets. The role has the responsibility of being a subject matter expert of Hematology within the Intercontinental Area and will be assigned key responsibilities based on the area priorities to represent the therapeutic area within global teams or broader Area forums and projects. Key Responsibilities: Build a comprehensive understanding of assigned LBUs market dynamics, trends, and insights. Map out all opportunities from business and financial perspective and deliver on cross functional priorities to support business growth across assigned Regions and LBUs. Develop clear understanding of Affiliate’s needs and provide support to Affiliate Brand team strategy, operations, and execution/performance. Partner with NPI/commercial leads to develop an annual business plan consistent with AbbVie goals, and with support functions to effectively coordinate all Plans, Updates, and other financial requirements.
